Busse Fusion Battle Mistress CG Preliminary Review

What's fairly large? 100-200 knives? 400-500? 1000? Is this something we could possible consider doing a pre-order for to see if there is legitimate demand for something like this?
only jerry knows the numbers and most of all his schedule for upcoming models. if there were a pre-order and we needed to make up some difference the busse store would be more than happy to stock any leftovers needed to make it viable.

it would be a nice addition to the battle mistress series. cobalt would pee his pants to get a few of these!

Don't they weigh the almost the same?

The Aftershock is 6 oz. lighter and the BM-E is 4 oz lighter (both are 1/4") than the CG FBM, I'm not sure of the weight on the ZT, I think if I had to hump it all day, I'd take the AS. Truck or scooter camping the FBM would win out.

I would love a FAM. The FBM is a awsome knife and this is why I got two of them, but they are heavy knives and I could not see myself lugging one around the bush. I think a 3/16" FBM would be awsome, I would prefer it without the corrigations and also with the std handle option.

The FAM would be a great user blade and would certainly help reduce the overall weight.

thanks for your review, i too love the ergo battle mistress in 3/16th (zt-bm)
i've yet to hold one of the fbm's and can't wait to do so.

a "fam" (fusion anorexic mistress) would be very cool, maybe jerry would make a run for the company store. if so i would like mine coated for corrosion resistance.

Yes, yes, yes! Oh please yes!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers,
BJB :D

Man, I would be all over a FAM!:D I got a Desert Olive ZTBM shortly after getting my FBM. The FBM's are gorgeous knives, but the ZTBM just feels better IMHO.

I'd buy one ZTFBM and 1 FAM. Make one saber grind and one full height - that would be a quick handling cuttin' SOB.

Thanks for the review! Seems to hit the nail on the head.

Great idea on the FAM. Count me as another "definitely". I must be one of the few that thinks a knife should be used to cut most of the time and chop on occasion.

I don't know, the weight is not enough for me to care one way or the other. I always love the weight issue being brought up. Instead of going light on the knife or equipment, why not just loose a few excess pounds that most people carry.

I just don't like the grind lines on the FBM esthetically. I think it would be cool to do a comparison between the FBM CG and the Dogfather or BM.

I'm with you on this one. If you have to cut back on something don't make it your knife.
