Are you currently an active duty military personnel? On our side? If so I'll cover shipping Priority mail to an APO/FPO Afganistan.

The corrugations are from material removed to reduce weight while the corrugations retain the lateral strength. I'll see if I can find Jerry's explanation.

Here is the info off of the Busse Combat Site slightly paraphrased.
