I actually swam with crocs in Jamaica on the black river! The guides said it was cool and they didn't attack people and locals were swimming by them spear fishing!

The timber stocked rifle is a early 1970s Winchester M70 in .375H&H. Just refinished the stock late last year![]()
The brown snake is a Common (also known as Eastern) Brown Snake. It sits around No 2 or 3 on the kill you scale. The black one is a Red Belly Black Snake. They are well down the list at 12 or something (similar to some of the Rattle Snakes). Can't hunt crocs but that is will come again with the numbers ever growing now. I think the squashed spider is a Funnel Web, I didn't look too fast before I stomped it as it was at my back door. I have previously gotten Funnel Webs in the garage so it may well have been. Don't laugh...a kangaroo can easily kick the crap out of a man..!!!
The croc with the head up in my pic above was recently shot by Police after he took a fisherman in the NT here. It was well known on the stretch of river (called Michael Jackson as he has a white/light head and the black/green body). I took that pic in 2008.
.... that was the detailed cleaning that one got the day I collected it. It ended up with S&W Australia for a trigger job....Hey Mate that Model 70 is the Shiznit..."The Rifleman's Rifle".....I was gazing at the S&W you gutted and didn't see any small shims...When I rebuild them I put a small shim on the Hammer & Trigger post so they ride on the shim and not the casting....VERY SMOOTH!!!!
Are they gone? Or in hiding...lol.
Lar Grizz? Now that sounds interesting ?
Man I'm realizing I've missed a lot just focusing on certain guns and now that I'm older I find myself drawn toward the older more obscure guns or maybe not obscure but guns I've overlooked?
