Rover do you like the newer design of the 57 or the older one better?

I like the older one much better. I've owned one USG and this is the second IOM I've owned. I find the checkering on the USG to be too aggresive. Great pistol but really the only reason it was changed was to fit the USA's like of the square trigger guard.

Just comes down to which model you like the feel of. You'll also pay a slight premium for the IOM and have to track one down (not hard but its not something you see in gunshops).
