Busse handle question

TH, slightly over 8" Pushingmongo here, yes...I'm talking about my hand. I have the same knife, same thickness and the mag handles on it are my favorite of ALL my Busses.

My hand is the same size as yours and I like the mags.

On an ASH-1 in that thickness I would only get mags. The one I have with that size blade is perfect with mags.:thumbup: In fact it could stand to be thicker. Ray has me out measuring my hand now which is a little bigger at 9" from heel to middle finger.

Go with mags.

OK guys, the knife with magnum handles has been ordered from the Busse custom shop. Amy says she wants pix so I might have to upgrade the membership thingy.

What kind of sheath should I get for hot and humid Florida? I wonder if horizontal carry is an option? I will have a Kifaru Navigator backpack but want the knife handy. There seems to be a lot of great sheath makers out there. I will be traipsing through the woods with this knife. Or should I start a new thread?
 
Yup, I ordered an knife from the Busse custom shop. I did not know how Busse handle their production until reading a post regarding an introduction to Busse. Every knife that seemed to be close to what I wanted on the exchange was snatched up before I got there. Y'al are quick!

So anyway, I called Amy and they blew the dust off a blank for an ASH that someone found tucked away up there. Seemed like fate to me. Thanks Amy-O by the way. Now the finish and handles are decided upon and all I need is a functional sheath. So, that is my next research project. Yee haw! This is the story of my first Busse, and it has been fun. I reserve the right to blame all of you for the resultant addiction!
