Busse Hood Knife

Are the Hoods still some where in the production schedule or have they fallen off? I have had one on order for quite some time and was wondering if they are going to come into being.

We do still have the "Hoods" in the work schedule and will, hopefully, be finding the completion time in the near future.

WTF, Dr. Ron Hood ["Doc Ron"] is a very highly regarded survival expert [to name one of his credentials] who has his own website, videos and who also moderates here. Some time back, I don't remember how long ago, he commissioned an infi version of one of his survival knife designs. I think it may still appear on his site, but the page has indicated for quite a while that no further orders are being taken. I believe other knife designs are available, including a Simonich. Doc Ron himself, over there and over here, has described the planned Busse knife and his views on what makes a good knife. It's best to get it from the doctor's mouth, unless Jerry would care to comment. If he doesn't, that would be perfectly understandible. The combination of Jerry and Ron's respective expertise would make for an incredible combination.
 
This may be the ultimate in survival knives. A Ron Hood designed Jerry Busse executed knife. I am pleased to see that they are still in the works and am waiting for their arrival. Jerry any ideas or just be patient?

These "Hood" knives are really a great idea.
Their delivery was stalled indefinitely by my hand injury.

We are reducing the backorder of our regular models on a daily basis and will begin finishing the "Hoods" as time permits. So, patience is the call word for right now.
