A Friend contacted me because he had another Friend who wanted to cash out on a few Busse knives. We came to an agreement and these are what arrived today :) There is a Badger Attack, a Steel Heart II, and a Battle Mistress 1of 300! The SH and BA appear unused and as mint as I’ve ever seen. The BM appears to have only been used once as I was told it was but it suffered some small chips toward the point. As the story goes, someone borrowed it when the owner was not there. Probably hit some stones chopping close to the ground. I don’t recall seeing sheaths like the SH and BM wear. The BM sheath wears some Velcro but I’ve no idea if that was original or not. Also the false edge is slight. I kinda dig it :)

If anyone has anymore info on these, I’d love to hear it :)

The MS and BA sheaths are probably Eagle Industries right?
Yes the BA has an old Eagle sheath :) Back in the day you got a knife and a sheath :) Kind of mesmerizing seeing such an old sheath with no wear/dirt on it. I swear the nylon would attract and hold sand and mud stains forever!

The more I look at that Mistress, the more I'm convinced it is knife perfection. Congrats to you and thanks for posting.

The other night I broke down with the Battle Mistress. I just couldn’t bear the damage to the front of the blade. I didn’t do anything drastic but the rolls and most of the damage was removed with some Spyderco stones and then the edge received a well earned strop. Eventually the damage will be sharpened out as life goes on.
