Busse Hunters , Field Dressing ( G10 vs Micarta )

I like all of them except the paper micarta for field dressing. Otherwise, I'd say the canvas micartas, g10s, res-c or mudders, all big thumbs up.

Thanks guys! I haven't done much with my B4 anorexic since I got it other than some food prep. It's nice to know how capable it is.

I'm in on the pics, Goat harvest (sorry for bad cell-phone pics, I wasn't the photographer) - Scrapmax 460 and Hog Muk both used extensively. The Scrapmax, thin and toothy with sufficiently long edge, was used to slit the throat which it did with ease. The HogMuk helped skin and also butcher, but the paper-micarta scales were indeed a bit slick.

That ScrapMax got the same handle as the B4? Finally had an anorexic B4 user come up on the Ex last night and missed it by a minute !*&^%!!!!

Yup, "WarDog" handles, that being the first to feature this particular design. It showed up on the ScrapMax models and the Busse Basic 4. It's not my favorite handle shape, I keep thinking of modifying it to suit or just selling it off, but the Elmax blade is such an exceptional cutter (length and geometry to suit the steel), it's hard to let go of.
