Busse in Yosemite! Pic Heavy

Great pix, thanks for sharing!:cool:
That is some beautiful land; and the knives are pretty nice too! The B-11’s handle looks kinda small, is that the case, or am I just not seeing it correctly (which is more than likely the case)?

the B11 handle is "smaller" than many Busse handles. However, it is a full, comfortable grip in my XXL glove sized hands! I have never felt it "cramped" in use. The only reason I bet people are going to love the new Basic's even more, is that the molded grip "grooves" on either side of the handle are not necessary in my mind. My hand gets all the grip it needs without them. And under long, protracted use, they might tend to create more of a hot spot than they would without.

What I am hoping, is that eventually I will have to replace the handle, then I will get one of the smooth, very slightly larger grips of the newer res c handles. (they used the old molds, slightly machined out to remove the grooves, and the raised surface on the handles).

Wow, great stuff, thanks!

I've only been in the Valley twice, looking forward to getting up on the rim for those amazing views.

thanks guys! it was an awesome trip...the sights are surreal...seriously, but you have to work for it. we started at 4000ft and climbed to 10k. Im not the most in-shape guy so it was pretty difficult for me..haha

I didnt carry all those knives though...they are owned by the four of us that went. and it was very packed in the parking lot and on the trail up to the last water fall.

very nice pics!!! ive been up that trail a couple of times but have never seen that much snow.absolutely one of the most beautiful places on earth.if you have ever thought about going do it.the pictures dont do it justice even though the pictures are great.ive backpacked all over the sierra and there is just something special about yosemite. thanks cappy!!

Day 2 we hiked to clouds rest peak and back to camp. day 3, we went up half dome, and day 4 we went back,

Awesome pics, guys. Very inspiring. I haven't been to Yosemite yet. I'm going to have to make the trip sometime soon.

BTW, how do did guys carry your big chopping Busse's Attached to the outside of your backpacks?

I have an outside pocket which i slip my kydex sheathed B11 it into then i use the landyard to tie it to something on the backpack. My friends did sort of the same. My other buddy just put it in his backpack. I had the Muk on my waist belt.

Went there myself last month. Very cool. Two people unfortunately passed away at Verna falls while I was there. :( I turned back half way as those stairs are just waiting for the next victim to slip. I was more afraid of the other people not being careful.
