Busse/INFI addiction???

Modded FBMLE from Bill Siegle was my first. I have owned 12 different pieces, and rotated out my small set of users once already.

FBMLE, Ash1CG, SS, BAD, GW,

Now have the KZII, B11, SARQ, another BAD, and CABS, with the Muck on order.
 
My first Bussekin was a cg scrapper 5. thatmguy and bob sold me on it at the indy 1500... about 2 years later I bought a Hell Razor and the INFIdiction began to take hold.
 
I started out on FEE-BAY, with a FFFBM .32, combat grade, with Magnum blue/black G-10. Then I discoved BladeForums and the knife exchange.....15 FFFBM's later.....then the KZ TT, and now, after I went to the last Knob-Creek and had a chance to handle all of the diffrent models, I am down to Fusion Steel Hearts......MOASH, HOGFSH, and CG FSH my favorites by far....:)
 
Picked up a couple of good deals in the NMSFNO and the SAR4, but I think it was the DSSF that really convinced me.

My first Busse ever was this SH-E, satin with snakeskin. Many Busse's have come and gone since then, but I still have this one.

I started out looking for a replacement knife for a Blackjack parang with Res C handle which I had for a lot of years and gave to a son of a friend who went into our Para Reg't.

I went to Scrapyard knives first because of the Res C grip and got a Dumpster Mut off the exchange to try out ... then a Skinny Ash from the store to check out "Infi" ... these were both a bit small for what I wanted and an FFBM I got from the exchange did'nt feel right ... the first knife that felt great was the Dogfather LE .... bought after moving the FFBM along ... then came the NMFBM and this just about had me convinced I had hit perfection ....

Went to Knob Creek and got the chance to buy a Basic 9 soon after from connections made there ... the Basic 9 remains my choice for a carry knife on my belt kit and is the only knife I have a spare for incase I ever lose it ...

Tried a load of different Busse's since ... up around 30-40 most of which I still have ... the knives I rank up there with the NMFBM and Basic 9 were subsequent purchases of a BWM LE and then the Zilla'a and a Basic 11 ...

My favourite is now very hard to choose ... probably my Nuclear Zilla ... but they are all "users" and I have enjoyed finding "the right one" for me :thumbup:

Right now I have six Busses....
SFNO LE, NMSFO, BWM, BS, SCABS, SAR 6.

In the leadtime, my creditcard got authorised by Bossman...:thumbup:
So, I guess the addiction will continue....:)

my 1st was a bruiser HOGFSH i got from dan. i thought i wanted a true brock samson knife... turns out, i'm not brock samson; and could hardly lift the thing!! fast forward through a few to 10 more busse, and this knife will NEVER leave my side: a custom shop caretaker. :cool::thumbup:

My first was a Mil overrun AD in muddy/tan.

Bought her on here and was hooked ever since - a week after the AD I ad a GW and Skinny ASH (all long gone now).

Have owned about 30 different Busses over the past couple years...
 
Basic 9 was my first. Bought it from Busse during the first offering. Still have it. Others have come and stayed, some came and left. The quest never ends.
 
Swamp Rat Howling Fat opened the door. Satin Jack TAC lured me in. ST Ripper closed the door behind me.

First was a Skinny Ash, then a bunch of Game Wardens, then L E models, then a couple SHSJ's and now my addiction seems to have moved toward A2 models ,BBSHSH, SHSH II's, SHBA, SHMS, Combat Recruit, i need to find a SHBM and then and then and then!

I thought you were using those for Christmas gifts that year. You mean those you love and cherish never got a piece of INFI????
 
Like many I went to Scrapyard first, looking for a SOD, but they were gone. Luckily I got a DDF and it was all over from there (the addiction that is). First Busse was a SFNO LE, an amazing knife that I ended up selling to fund an ASH1 LE which is a better size for me, and is still my all time favorite. Funny thing is I never did get that SOD as I ended up with a Skinny which is my primary camp carry.
 
Mine also started with a Skinny ASH,in the last 2 weeks I added CGFBM,HH FSH that I purchased from Liu,# 27 from the cupidganza,1 SAR-6 from the company store,1 boss jack LE and a Muk with #998.
