Khukuris are just not my thing I guess...

I wont be getting any schotch dispensers either... another one that really doesn't do anything for me.
But thats OK... just means I have more for the BloodBathAganza and the SH1a. ;) :D :D

.

Probably not the right thread for this, but I'll have to get at least one Scotch dispenser just so I can figure out how you hold the durn thing. :D

I'm all over the Assault Shakers though.

The closest thing I have to a Khukri is a Dervish Yataghan, shown here with a Ruck for scale. 1/4" 5160 gives me all the weight I want up front.

I think it'd be cool!
I have 2 HIs: an 18" AK, and a 15" Siru. The AK is about 1/2" at the spine, and boy does it chop! The Siru is thinner, but works more like a machete - that still chops...

I think a 1/2" INFI at about 18" would be awesome... :D and really pricey

Hey! I have a Dervish Yataghan too... although if you were to ask me its more of a Falcata than a Yataghan...

What do you consider pricey? I would expect they'd be somewhere near what the Rucks cost...

I'm all in for a Busse Khuk as long as it has a comfy handle. I have an HI CAK that is an awesome chopper but unfortunatley rapes my hand as well. It's not the most comfortable thing to hang from a belt or waist strap, either. That Dervish looks fetching!

I am almost ashamed to admit it, but I have a Cold Steel Khukuri that has filled the role as back-up work machete for the last 8-10 years, if Jery made a Khukuri I would certainly buy one. I usually buy a cheap machete wherever I am working, my latest being a 17" blade Gavilan made in Colombia, it cost me 10 Peruvian soles (about 3$US), although I haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces yet to see if it's worth $3.

So, looking at this poll Jerry has at least 70 Khukuri's sold already! Mr. Busse - are you checkin' this out? :D

C'mon... what's a tactical knife company if they haven't made a Khukuri? ;)

Ya see.... I'm thinking the knives in this picture should BOTH be Busses :)

That's a Wilson Tactical Kuhkri BTW...

Very cool. I like the Wilson. Reminds me of Bill Siegle's Jungle Knife.

Is yours satin? The website suggests they only come in beadblast unless you get ironwood scales.

Guyon, did you get your Jungle Knife yet?

I think it's still a few months out. Bill had a 6-month wait time when I ordered. October, maybe?

I did write him and ask him to make it satin instead of coated.

Here's a pic of resinguy's Jungle Knife (that I missed on the Exchange :D).

The specs Bill listed were 16 5/8 overall with a 10 1/4in blade.
