Busse/kin help please

Oh that's a really good point Cobalt thanks, I've been trying to decide whether I like the shape of the muk...

That's a modded SAR3. Talon hole ground away to make a large choir and the butt ground down.

Hope you don’t mind if I bump this one up. I still have never come across a thin stock, short blade Busse/kin but it’s probably because I’m not looking hard enough.

I see the Hair Cary, AMS, Magnum Bear Cub and Cultellus are close to what I’m looking for. Any other options or pics you can share since photobucket ruined everything?

Game Wardens were available in relatively thin stock. .140 for INFI, and something around .090 in Elmax. Active Duty was also made in .150. Boney Active Duty was about .125 (and Rc 60-62)

What are these two?

.090 Elmax would be a dream.

Skeleton Key? I think there was a thin and a thick version.

The Culti or the MBC def fit but may be a bit harder to find.

The Mini Mean Street is .145 - 7.8 OA and came out after this thread was posted should work great. If you can go a little bigger I'm loving the new Park Ranger at .145 - 8.4 OA and there should be a few of both on the exchange.

Top one was an Active Duty or Boney Active Duty

Next is a Mean Street or Mini Mean Street

.090 Elmax is the Scrapmax line.

The Mini Mean Street should be right up your alley, and they have been available on the exchange about once every two weeks. But I am sure you will get a PM today or tomorrow if you put up a WTB ad.

The BAD is a nice option, thin, hard and INFI, but they are a bit pricey, being north of $400 in most cases.

The Scrapmax line has a longer handle, but being a stick tang, they can be removed and modified to perfection. For now, I just reshaped my handle since I found the factory configuration to be a bit too blocky.

I also grabbed a Park Ranger and I am loving it, now that I changed the handle on that too. Just took the hump on the rear corner down a little.

Pencil line was factory.

The Busse Steak Knife came in 3 blade lengths, the shortest being 3.5" with an 8" overall length. The steak knives are made with .090" thick Elmax and the blade is hollow ground – they are great slicers!
