Busse Knife Group Proudly Introduces The War Train Handcar (WTH) & The TRASH 2 ! ! !

TommyGun, Lexi told me they were not making the Satin or none coated blades anymore. But she did say they will down the line. and I was just wondering if this is down the line, I would of paid more if I was able to with my S H E and B A E but I was refused, But Thanx for your replied TommyGun.

The WTH are going to be hellish slicers!!!  Guessing from the pics, but the primary bevel should be around 8º - 9º with that much belly in the blade (conservatively; more like 7º if my measurement are accurate)! A very "Mukish-like" skinning blade.

Piggyback those on a belt sheath and you'll need suspenders to hold up your pants!

A baldric pants rig...

My guess would be about 15° each side... Assuming the saber grind starts about 30 thou down from the spine.....

Timmy, was that in reply to what I posted above you? Doesn't make too much sense if it was. I'm measuring the primary bevel of the WTH to be appx. 1.25" tall. At 0.160" thick, that equates to the numbers I posted above (7.3º inclusive).

A simple early morning math error. Forgot to divide by two. Serves me right for doing math so sleepily. And without a calculator.

Paul'ie, I cannot speak for Busse or Lexi, The Satin Models are available on those Models Busse specifies, WTF, WTH, and a few others- for instance Satin was not offered on the B A E, only Combat Grade. When and if Operation Two Weeks ends, a more permanent offering may be introduced which will include a particular knife that includes the Option of Satin on some Models. For instance the TGLB was not offered in Satin on the Website for at least the last year-But was offered During Blade Shows and Ganzaa's in Satin (Team Gemini I believe not TGLB) or Competition Finish, while the ASHBM was offered in both Satin and CG! I have seen Satin TGLB but do not know when they were offered, I know some of them were done through the Custom Shop. There are other members on this forum who have much more extensive knowledge than I do, and any additional information are comments they have to further assist you would be very welcome. Hope this helps and good luck!

I just so happen to have a Baldric...now to choose Kydex or Leather with/without inlays...

Who am I kidding I will likely do both.

I caved also....LE WTH with Orange/black G10 to match one of my WTFs. Hopefully I can restrain myself from ordering another to match my other one!

This is insanity! :D

Thanx TommyGun56, Actually all my Busse Combats are either tge Satin Limited Edition or none coated, So I didn't want to break that up but I did with the S H E, but I was saved when in a short period of time I was able to get a nice set that matched with the B A E, Oh before that I got the Green American Flag Cerakote ASH-1 But that's one of those rare deals since it was the first time Busse Cerakoted a knife. As it turned out the pair that I most recently bought match eachother perfectly. I guess I'll be more aware of it now, and Thank You so much for explain things to me, I appriciate that a Google.

Well my credit card fell victim to Jerry again.
I had the usual hard time deciding which handle material to go with but that pic he put up with the green/black G10 won me over, but, if a tan/black comes up for sale later I may have to get it too👍

I have a few Busse/kin knives just waiting for deer season but I most excited about using that WTH to process some venison. If it works even half as good as I think it will it may become the go to knife for those tasks.

The war train is chugging right along!
WTF big gun, check!
WTH little edc, check!
If we get lucky we may get WTS dropped right in the middle!
Who else would love a War Train Squatch?! :D

I had another name in mind, but the War Train Squatch would work, 73/4 to 8 1/4 inch of pure infi Satin-It is coming I believe, so yes I am IN!!!

That x-ray vision while flying over Wauseon in my cape is coming in handy! :p

My intelligence sources advised me that Garth is working on a prototype model as we speak in a separate building located outside the Busse Compound, as more info becomes available I will pass it on
