Does anyone know what Jerry has to say about throwing his knives? I have read a few threads about abuse but never read what the man himself says about throwing a more stout Busse knife. A post by Jerry would be most awesome!

I would never do that to my INFI..............

Really............

Never..............

OK, I guess I have, just don't tell Jerry.................

Handle hold

Blade hold

Jerry has posted supportive words in the past.

I would not throw my BAD, or CABS because they have pretty thin tip grinds.

I threw my FBMLE, and my AshCG with no concerns (besides the safety of the bounce back They were shaving sharp when I threw them, so I did not do it a lot.

I know of a Hog around these parts that throws his NMFBM and Gladius!!!
I might need to throw his FFBM this weekend as well as my ASH, and Crash Rat.

I'm not very good but here was my 17th attempt throwing my waki:

Well as soon as some one actually seriously damages their knife by throwing it, we will find out if it's covered. For now just keep in mind the warranty doesn't cover the tank you destroyed with your knife, while practicing your techniques or inability to find the knife after being thrown.

I mean why haven't they made a throwing knife yet? I have been known to chuck my cg boss jack. It does alright. Not as good as a spearpoint though...

I throw my DSF all the time. It flies awesome, although one time when I had a few too many Frosty Pops at the firepit I decided to throw it and it bounced off the tree and hit a rock and broke the tip off, about a 1/4. I just sharpened it out with a stone, no worries. Throw your Busses they are made to be used not stuck in a damn safe.

I thought INFI stood for I Need Frequent Intoxication

I use my NMSFNO as a thrower, managed to flake a couple pieces off the edge and take out a chunk of micarta when I had a throw get away from me and hit a cinder block. The edge worked out pretty easy. Also have shifted my scales like a SOB.

Fun to throw, but look a little while to get used to.

Cobalt has said that he threw one of his SHBMs thousands of times. That knife found it's way to me, it looks none the worse for wear and tear.

Enjoy your knife, throw it. Eventually the scales might come loose. Send it in and they will fix it up. Throw some more.

When I'm feeling strong, I'll throw the Chuckette'

Still looking for a "Great" Busse thrower tho...

I throw my DMDC all the time and will be throwing my TGLB next week.. the SH-e not so much the handle angle just feels off.

BTW I practice that no spin technique and it works really well.

I love the input so far but the in the AK47 link Jerry says these tests are “intentional damage” that sounds alot like abuse to me and damage from this type of use would be frowned on.
Jerry any input? I would love to hear what you have to say.
