Busse Knives Being Outsourced????

This was brought up on another forum. The thread is now locked, so I will post my response here for those of you who have been reading the other forum. The OP (Uncle Jarvis) even goes so far as to state that he spoke with someone in Ohio to confirm that our handles are being made somewhere else. . . . this is simply a bold-faced lie.

For what it is worth, all of our handles are made right here, in the Busse Knife Shop in Wauseon, OH on our own CNC machining centers. . . .

UJ then posted a pic of a Busse Knife with a made in China sticker photoshopped onto it. . . .

For the record. . . . We do not import any "parts" from overseas for any Busse Knife other than some not-so-secretive "Quenching Fluid" from Scotland!!!!! :eek::thumbup:

Thanks to those who defended us against the stupidity.:thumbup:

I'm always available by phone to clear-up any rumors or heresay. :D

Now, Let's Drink. . . (I'll be having some "Quenching Fluid" from Scotland!!!!!) :thumbup:

I used to think UJ had a character defect but I came to see he is simply deranged.

What's the Gaelic word for "quench"? Oh, ... Sláinte!

Oh, and I'm not making a disparaging remark toward anyone outside this country who also buy Busse Combat. They who ever they are just realize a great knife when they see one, have a nice day!!!
 
I've seen knock offs by chinese notebly of Mr Mojo. But I haven't followed the other thread. And have no interest to go look for it now. I don't have many BUSSE knives, but the knives speak for themselves. Anyone who ever held a BUSSE will know the amount of work that went into it the second he sees it. Simple knife designs have gotten praises for non knife people based on the fit and finish.

Jerry please don't let it get to you. There are few guys who are bitter because they aren't willing to pay what the knives are worth and try to justify it. I'm always broke and can't always afford a knife I'd like. But I do not regret buying any of my BUSSE knives, and I'm not planing to sell them to get cash.

I said it before and I will say it again your work, dedication, ethics and pride in what you do doesn't go unnoticed. And isn't seriously questioned by anyone.
 
I think Jerry wanted to set the record straight because the "OP" had stated that he talked to someone at Busse Combat and "we" told him that....that is a non true statement.:)

I'm here because I like INFI and Busse Combat, and also this knife community. I appreciate what INFI can do. I'm not here to pay any attention to a bunch of silly drama queens somewhere that I don't hang out.
