I did a quick search and didn’t find any mentioning of Busse knives in movies, so I figured I’d start one up.

Here is one for the upcoming Predators (or at least I think it’s a Busse):

After further review by this committee, it was determined this is NOT a Busse.
You, guys, are good…..and quick too.

Pretty cool lookin knife,,, but I'm pretty sure, not a Busse. I think its the "Tops Eagle" series, or one of the larger Ferhman's,?, but with 2 holes in the pommel, Im pretty sure its the Tops Eagle

One of the more seasoned Hogs, will need to chime in on any past Busse's in Hollywierd:D:D

looks like a TOP's

Thats not a Busse. Looks like a Ferhman or Tops to me also, and I hear they are a good knife, but never had one.

Its very rare to see a great knife in a movie, but it does happen. For the most part they use cheap crap, which I've never figured out why. I guess they realize most people won't know the differance.

Good point, and very funny that they use crappy knives in movies. They seem to go to great lengths to use top quality guns though. Here's an example: I just watched The Book of Eli with Denzel. He had some huge knife (not sure what brand) that played a major role in the movie. My wife commented on how big it was and said she was glad I didn't have one that big. I just grinned but thought how sweet it would be if he had an AK47 or Ruck instead, like the one in my safe. Later in the movie they pulled out the guns and had HK MP7's, MP5's, M4 Carbines, etc. all very clearly top quality guns (or at least good replicas).

How sweet would it be to see a guy pull out a Busse knife in a movie though. I would probably start cheering.:D:p:cool:

There is nothing like starting a new thread with a flop…….. At least it should have been a Busse.

There was a thread like this couple of month back. There i found out that Busse SHe or BMe I don't remember was in some movie as knife tucked away behind something but it was never really part of the movie.

Jerry did mention in that thread, that something is coming soon.

It would be really cool to see a Busse in a movie, but I haven't seen any so far :(... Btw I believe it's Fehrman knives (not Ferh... it's from german language)

Cold Steel (A lot), ZT, Spyderco and a few others have been used in a number of movies over the years so it's time for Busse to be in some. :D

I'd much rather have THE knife out of The Book of Eli than an AK. If I remember correctly the knife had air pockets cut into the blade so that for example it wouldn't stick when slicing through someone's torso! Much better knife for the job than an AK. Would be sweet to see more in films though, for sure...

Yeah, looks like a Busse.

There needs to be a zombie movie where people weild AK's, Moabs, and Gladiuses instead of cheap machetes.

Or some sort of apocalyptic style movie that has a couple Busses in it.

What always cracks me up is how much movie time FURY and United get.

I know of two movies where millionaires are holding those cheep knives.

Spider man 2

and

Taken

Both have very rich men holding very cheep knives.

LOL

Great thread and Happy D-day!!!!

There was a NATGEO docu-drama about a special police force of Columbia called the Junglas. In that show there was a blatant appearance of a busse knife.
