I have the opportunity to buy a mean street from a friend for $200. Like new condition with a B.I.G. finish.
This would be my first busse.
My question is should I go ahead and buy the mean street or wait to buy the TGLB?
I will be getting a TGLB much later if I do buy this mean street.

Depends on what you want to do with them.. Apples and Oranges

I've thought about getting the Mean Street straight off the site, full price. But, the primary reason for owning a Busse is the steel. And INFI really shines, from what I understand, when used on larger blades than the Mean Street; ie, you wont really notice how awesome it is on a 3 inch blade. For a three inch blade you can get something that performs just as well or better for the price (even at $200). Personally, I'd save up for a big INFI.

$200 is a great price for one of the best small Busse knives. It's a great EDC. Buy it now, use it and then sell it if you are't happy. You won't lose any money!

Thanks so much for everyones input please keep it coming. I realize this would have been a post for the Busse knife forum.

No doubt it's awesome, but why delay your true love? Unless you want both... In that case hop on the deal.

I have to admit I do want both. And then some. Infi steel is amazing. I really wanted an SOB. Hopefully there will be more of those to come.

Check the exchange.
Go for what you REALLY want. Do not settle. If you do, you'll kick yourself every time you use the knife you settled for.
