A Busse for your consideration....

The first person to post “I'll take it” without contingencies and a follow up e-mail will receive purchasing priority.

Please ask any questions prior to making a purchase commitment. My top priority is a hassle free transaction. I'll be more than happy to provide additional / higher resolution photos and discuss questions via PM, e-mail, or over the phone. I've done my best to accurately describe the condition of the knives I'm offering for sale, but there's always the issue of process variation and manufacturing tolerances inherent to this type of product so please inquire if there are issues of particular importance to you.

I will accept payment via USPS Money Order, or PayPal ("Purchase" type only, I will not accept PayPal Gift) with a confirmed address per the pricing listed. That being said, please be aware that if you have less then 5 positives as a buyer on itrader (or any negatives) I will prefer a US postal money order. I will ship via USPS w/signature confirmation and provide insurance to CONUS only.

I'm not interested in any trades at this time.

I reserve the right to not do business with any individual without explanation. All sales are “as is, where is” and without warranty (except as provided by the manufacturer). All sales are final. By purchasing this item you are stating that you are 18 years of age or older and abiding by all local, state and federal laws concerning the purchase, transportation and possession of this item.

Busse Mil Overrun BATAC w/ Okuden Sheath: I recently acquired this knife in a trade. The prior owner claimed that it is new and unused, which I believe to be true. However, there is some very minor scuffing from being inserted in the sheath that can be seen in the photos below (the black dots that are visible in the photographs on the coating near the blade edge and the spine of the knife). In addition there is a small coating chip on the tip of the blade that is also visible in the close up photo below.

Here's what I know about this knife: It was sold during the “13th Knoboganzaaa” on 11-3-07. Here's Jerry Busse's description of the knife from a bladeforums post on 11-1-07: “Mil Overrun with custom color combo to match the new desert digi camo.... Very Cool!"

I was told by the prior owner that he was told by Jerry himself that this knife is 1 of 18 that were left over from a run of knives that were done for a Ranger Battalion. I have no way of knowing if this is accurate or not, but it's the information I was provided.

Back to what I know: The “Magnum” handle is G-10, reasonably thick and feels great in my hand. One of the best Busse handles I've owned. The blade thickness measures .195” on my calipers, just a hair over the 3/16” specification. The Okuden sheath is nicely made, which is typical, and it fits the knife very well. The lanyard seen in a couple of the pictures is included as well: $525 USPS MO (+ 3.5% PayPal)
