A couple of Busse knives for your consideration....
The first person to post “I'll take it” without contingencies and a follow up e-mail will receive purchasing priority.
Please ask any questions prior to making a purchase commitment. My top priority is a hassle free transaction. I'll be more than happy to provide additional / higher resolution photos and discuss questions via PM, e-mail, or over the phone. I've done my best to accurately describe the condition of the knives I'm offering for sale, but there's always the issue of process variation and manufacturing tolerances inherent to this type of product so please inquire if there are issues of particular importance to you.
I will accept payment via USPS Money Order, or PayPal ("Purchase" type only, I will not accept PayPal Gift) with a confirmed address per the pricing listed. That being said, please be aware that if you have less then 5 positives as a buyer on itrader (or any negatives) I will prefer a US postal money order. I will ship via USPS w/signature confirmation and provide insurance to CONUS only.
I'm not interested in any trades at this time.
I reserve the right to not do business with any individual without explanation. All sales are “as is, where is” and without warranty (except as provided by the manufacturer). All sales are final. By purchasing this item you are stating that you are 18 years of age or older and abiding by all local, state and federal laws concerning the purchase, transportation and possession of this item.
Busse Extraction Unit 17 (EU17) Mini #41: I purchased this knife from a fellow forum member who described it as follows: “New and unused”. Though true, it had an issue with the coating so I sent it in to the Busse shop. They gave the whole knife a satin finish and remarked it. Here's an excerpt from my e-mail exchange with Garth “So you will have the only Custom Shop satin finished EU17. I am sure it will be the envy of all the other EU17 owners.” As always Garth and his crew did a great job; this knife is not only as rare, it's beautifully finished.
There's quite a bit of information on the EU series available. Here's a little about what I know and believe to be true: The mil-overrun “Extraction Unit 17” series was introduced in 2004. The standard EU17 was first in the series (7” blade, 37 released). Next came the EU17 Magnum (9.5” blade, 28 released). The Mini EU17 was expected immediately after the Magnum as noted in this October 30, 2004 post by Jerry on the release of the Magnums: “We will be posting the "GO" button here and on our website forum.... These should go pretty fast, I believe that there are only around 28 of these available. . . I will get an exact number for you tomorrow.... Look for the start of the action around 9:00 or 10:00 pm EST.... We might have the "Mini EU-17s" for you tomorrow night as well. . . not sure yet. We have VERY VERY few of those, certainly not enough to make a special offer of their own.” However, they weren't released until two weeks later
, May 2, 2005. Here's what Jerry had to say in a post on April 29, 2005: “The Mini EU-17 sports a 6 inch blade of INFI and simply floats in your hand! ! ! The Mini completes the trilogy of EU-17 models and just begs for a good old fashioned whoopin'!!!” The blade spec (per Jerry, Aug 2004) is: “Fatter than 1/4". . . Thinner than 5/16" . . .. Full height grind”.

Busse Game Warden LE (GW LE): Snakeskin handle and a .140” satin blade. I am calling this a limited edition (LE) because it was the first Game Warden released, and it has a snakeskin handle. I also believe this is the common terminology for this model. Whether, or not the factory considers them Limited Editions I don't know. This particular knife is new, as received from the factory. It has not been used, sharpened, or inserted in a sheath. There are two finishing imperfections on the tang of the knife, both can clearly be seen in the close up photos below. This knife includes a new Armoralleather leather sheath purchased from the Company Store (a $35 value).$375 USPS MO / $390 PayPal $360 USPS MO / $370 PayPal SOLD
