Busse Newbie

Wow! I think that's all there is to say. I've owned a lot of knives over the years. I spent a lot of years in and around the military and have spent even more in the woods and urban jungles. I just got my first Busse; a custom fatty Game Warden; and I'm in love!!!!! I don't know what took me so long to discover these awesome blades. I guess I was just focused on other makers for too long. There's obiviously a strong following to Busse and I'm wondering if anone call point me in the right direction to find out all the great faqs and info on these knives. Also, outside of this site and eBay, can anyone tell me where else I can get them? I'm hooked........
 
This forum is great, the knives are even better, but dont forget to check out the other forums from Busse, Swamp Rat and Scrapyard. There is tons of good info, history, and links to what you are looking for.

Check out the sticky threads at the top of the Busse Forum main page... Lots of good info in them. There's also a Gallery thread stickied up there as well that's loaded with pix of our favorite Busse knives. :thumbup:

You should also start prowling and lurking in the Busse exchange sub forum right here on bladefourms. You really need to spend hours there per day looking at all the infi you want, and soon won't be able to afford. I, my self, am not hooked on infi. I can stop any time I want. I am more of a dabbler, or a social infi user as you might say. Oh, sure, I have traded valuable items for infi. Ok, once or twice a week I pass the Plasma center and wonder how many visits it will take to get a new piece of infi. And sure, I would probably let an older hog take advantage of me in totally horrible and degrading sexual ways as long as there was a piece of grail infi (or even A2) involved in the seedy transaction.

But at least I have managed to limit my self to 4 pieces. Only 2 of which I actually paid for with money (the other two are from trade).

Thanks for all the great info and great welcome! I just mailed off one of my Sebe's for trade for my second Busse and I'm already looking at one and eBay and one here!!! It's crazy, just holding my GW in hand and I want more, more, more! I carried it all day today for the first time. Yummyyyyyyy! I'm freakin' out!!!!!!!!

If you're there in San Antonio, you ought to give our man, Dwayne Puckett (leatherman on the forums), a shout.

Not only will he hook you up with some great leather; he might have a few Busse blades that'll make you drool some more.
