I tried to post this on the Busse forum but you need a gold membership to be able to post there.
My question is why you see the motto "Busse, No regrets" so often?
Has this some hidden meaning?

You need to flash the secret sign and make the secret handshake to at least 7 other Busse Hogs before you get indoctrinated to this level...

Busse's may be pricey blades but just pick one up and you'll understand the "No Regrets" saying.

You don't have to be a Gold member to post there.

And it means don't regret running up thousands on your CC account:p

After several months through a botched order process & multiple emails trying to sort it out all the way up to Jerry Busse himself, the knife finally arrived, and I pretty much immediately regretted it.
Ungainly, the grip was configured awkwardly for my hand.

Determined not to give in, I had a custom sheath made for it.
They then sat here in the office for a full three years before I did finally give up & admit it was just not going to work for me. Sold it & sheath for almost what both had cost me.

No regrets?
I have some. :)

That's unfortunate. I had a great experience ordering from Busse. The staff was very responsive and helpful when I called to ask about my order.

I had never held one before I ordered but went ahead on faith and the glowing recommendations. My TGLB was the first Busse I held and I was impressed. I found the grip worked well for me and I anticipate I'll have other Busses in the future.

I know people like 'em, and that's fine.
I don't share the worship, and I regret tying up the money. :)
The Swamp Rat Battle Rat from their sister company, on the other hand, was infinitely less hassle, fits my hand great, cost much less, and the ATV never hits the desert or the hills without it. :)

I've had some really nice Busses, but I agree with you that nothing is quite as comfortable or uses quite as well as their Rec-C handled knives. Glad you found one that you like.

That Swamp Rat is the most comfortable large blade to use for heavy work I've ever encountered. :)
Never did understand why they dropped the handle material.

That 911 looks about right. :)
I've got the Swamp Rat Desert Battle Rat (if I recall correctly), tan all over.

You would probably like the Busse Basic series with Rec-C handles then. They started making them again.

We'll never know. :)
After that one Busse experience I'll never go in their direction again.

I'm proud to help the effort by staying out of the Busse market & leaving that many more of their products available for their fans. :)
