BUSSE or Kin you thought you'd hate, until you grabbed it....

I got my first ResC handled blade in last years grab bag (TRASH1). The comfort and forward weight make for great users. I had no interest in them until I handled one.

Not gonna say that I thought I would hate it but just didn't see the big deal with the Fatash. Had to get one to see for myself and it's my absolute favorite knife. Found a nice satin with tequila sunrise g-10 and it's my keeper. Quite a few of my friends have bought Busse's because of that knife. Mission accomplished!

SARSquatch. Looks kinda strange, feels great in hand.
+1 it looks fugly but I totally regret letting it go, once it gets a treatment from bantang and deep convexed it's a thing of beauty, I'd post a picture but botophucket lost it .. I miss my team gemini crusader as well :(

I thought the WTF looked badass but when I got one in my grab bag last year I was totally not into it. So heavy it's impractical. Like a camp cleaver with a point. Had a camp cleaver too didn't like the concept and didn't like it in hand. Both found happier homes with no regrets.

I really like this grab bag round because I've traded like an 80s stock broker on cocaine. I've got to handle about 20 knives I never encountered before and hang onto a couple. I've got a lot more understanding about Busse knives as well as what works for me.

For instance I freaking love and appreciate satin CS knives with fancy handles, but I won't use them as it would bang them up and I won't let them languish in a safe either.

The WTF is basically an FBM that ate too much pork, and is now REALLY friggin wide and fat

HG55 for me. That triangular shaped handle looks really odd and uncomfortable, that was untill I hold one.
I guess the HG55 & shark attack have the same 'angular' handle profiles that deceitfully mislead us.
