I got my first ResC handled blade in last years grab bag (TRASH1). The comfort and forward weight make for great users. I had no interest in them until I handled one.

+1 it looks fugly but I totally regret letting it go, once it gets a treatment from bantang and deep convexed it's a thing of beauty, I'd post a picture but botophucket lost itSARSquatch. Looks kinda strange, feels great in hand.

I thought the WTF looked badass but when I got one in my grab bag last year I was totally not into it. So heavy it's impractical. Like a camp cleaver with a point. Had a camp cleaver too didn't like the concept and didn't like it in hand. Both found happier homes with no regrets.
I really like this grab bag round because I've traded like an 80s stock broker on cocaine. I've got to handle about 20 knives I never encountered before and hang onto a couple. I've got a lot more understanding about Busse knives as well as what works for me.
