Rarely does a Pauls Hatchet come up for sale, and almost never does a Pauls Hatchet Variant come up for sale. Double cut finish, tan micarta handle slabs. If you look closely "Busse Combat" is etched into the micarta. When I first got it I used it to cut up a lime for tequila shots, and as a result it has a very light and small patina from the juice. You can barely see it in the pics. That is the only time it has been used. USPS money order only. Shipped to an address in the continental US only. SOLD!!!

I thought this was an extravaganza Prototype, not a variant?
(no disrespect, since IMO it makes it more valuable!)
 
You are right Ed, it was supposed to be a prototype. There was a coated version as well. This makes the second one I have seen, so there are at least two of them with DCBB finish and tan slabs.
 
To my knowledge all Paul's Hatchets were made in INFI only, no other metals ever used.

Says " Busse Combat" on it, it is made of INFI.

Swampers got their own Version, not marked Busse, not INFI.
 
FYI, as of 3/25/07 this is currently on Ebay (not mine). Wish i got it earlier, but now my cash is for the Ganza and Mutt!
