Meet Cheyenne. After the passing of my buddy Murf, we decided to rescue another Brittany. We found this guy thru a rescue organization. He was a puppy mill rescue. For about 5-7 years he knew cage and breed, thats all. Just enough food to live and watered with a bottle like you would have for a pet rat. Poor boy had his front lower teeth filed down because he chopped on the females..... The rescue agency had them removed because the nerves were exposed. Its been a tough road, but he is adapting VERY well.........

If you ever get a chance to rescue a dog..... do it. Its a long road, but you can tell that when they begin to trust humans again, and know they are loved, and they are so thankful for it......

You did good!
And he looks happy!

My mastiff cross pup has an obsession with all things paper. So I was sitting in the family room and hear a thump and rustling coming from the bathroom. Well, I went in and luckily had the phone in hand from a text message and here wee Bonnie was trying to look all innocent. She gave herself away when a piece of paper towel fell out of her jowl though.

Looks pretty settled in there Joe!

Good looking dog. How does he do outside?

Typical Brittney. He's all over the place, curious as anything I've seen, but he likes to keep track of where I'm at and doesn't get to far. He listens very well. He seems not too nose keen, but his eyes miss NOTHING!

Great looking dog there Joe. Rescue dogs are great. Mine will be 14 years old next month and still acts like a puppy.

That is awesome! It's great to hear that your pup is adapting. Depending on the dog and their prior situation, it might take years for them to get entirely comfortable.

Here is Bravo standing guard.

One of the few pics were he is actually standing. He is kind of lazy most of the time.

Here's my baby. His name is Huey. He is gonna be a tank when he grows up.

Gonna be time to start breaking him soon, if he doesn't break me first.

I took Jaz running one night, when I looked down I noticed how menacing her shadow is at twilight, she's a "big bad wolf"
