Busse Picture Challenge

Next challenge: A picture of you (or hot chick substitute) with your Busse standing in front of a historical site marker or historic site in your area. If you choose a historic site with no marker, please explain the significance with the photo. The site doesn't have to be a high profile site. Something locally significant is great. The more interesting, the better. A good local example below.
My son with his Magnum Bear Cub he got at Blade. A strange locally famous historic site. "The Grave in the Road"....literally splits the county road.

Thank you for the follow-up shots from Hooters, UN-SHEATHED blades :thumbup::thumbup:
Those girls have been very accommodating, and perhaps will soon be famous among knife-lovers everywhere ;)

I bet someone beats me to the next challenge, otherwise I'll try to hit Tower Hill State Park down the road from my parcel this afternoon...

Is that a bullet hole in the sign ? looks like a 12ga slug ?

Historical site hmm, let me see.

There is a cool statue down town but a knife by the state building hmm.

Well, here's a fun one I think you will all enjoy. Found this while working.

Electrical towers above running along telco lines + uranium. The man risked his life. Nice job on the pics!

That looks like a historical marker, and that looks like like a Busse!

2ton, what's next :D

Forager, shouldn't you have used either a "nuclear meltdown" anything or a "fusion" whatever for that ;)

Either way, great pic!

Just waiting for the nod from 2TONYB and then I'll post my challenge.

I didn't have anything fusion or nuclear meltdown with me at the time.

Busse knives are nuclear tough so even that small piece of INFI nearly started a chain reaction in the pile :D:rolleyes:

Definitely qualifies as an interesting historical site. Good work! Whats's the next challenge forager?

Smokin' bacon! Haven't been here for some days. What's the next challenge? My weekend has started (Thursday + Friday here). Best time to take some shots

Here's the next challenge.

Let's see the Busse of your choice next to a USGS summit marker and a view from that marker. For the International brethren, I assume you have something similar through your own geologic or mapping surveys.

Benchmarks (survey markers) have been placed all over to give points of reference for mapping, surveying, and anything else that requires precise spatial knoledge. They are generally brass disks placed on the ground in cement.

So go climb or drive to a mountain (or a large hill) and find the summit marker.

It should look something like this

Bumping this up. Found it on page 8. Anyone going on vacation or near some large hills?

I would if southern Louisiana had any hills......I don't think Monkey Hill in New Orleans Audubon Park really counts though

OK, how about a Stewardess holding a Busse (or kin) inside a plane on a commercial flight!

OR

Sticking out of a cannon!
