Due to being out o fwork without pay for too long I am selling some things and this is one of them.
It is a Busse purebred fighter with a 6" blade. I removed the black coating myself using epoxy remover chemicals, then used a hand sander to clean it off some more, finally followed by sandpaper... at NO time did the blade get hot enough to do any damage to the heat treat, I continually used cool water to manage the heat.
The blade finish is far from perfect, but would be something you could finish into a fine shine yourself, or just use as is.
This knife has a wood handle of what I believe is ironwood also put on by myself. Nice wood, again not perfect, but I am not a knife maker.
Finally this knife comes with a gorgeous sheath from leatherman with a rare Anaconda snake inlay. This sheath is worth a lot on its own and has one of his pin-locks in it, allowing the user to ensure the knife stays in.
What you end up with is a Busse knife you will not be afraid to use, or send back to the man himself for a clean up.
It has never actually cut anything or been abused at all, save my trying to make it pretty and useful. It does feel alive in the hand and so I will now let the pictures do the talking.
