Busse Resume

Thanks Jerry and everyone else for your warm welcomes :)

Haha well here's me changing the oil in my truck with the help of one of our goats, Twinny. Tim took the picture :)

I'm really female :p Promise.

And yes, I like the knives. The HACK was a gift (which is why Dave doesn't have it in his collection) and the BOSS Jack, I told Tim it was mine enough that he finally just started to believe me.

Be careful, guys! If your wives start liking the knives- sure, you'll have something to talk about, BUT she may slowly start commandeering your collection!

We will get pics of Tim and I holding our respective BOSS Jacks so you can see what I'm talking about in the hand-size issue I run into with these awesome knives :) Tim has monster hands, and I have hands that fit comfortably into those lil one-size knit gloves in the childrens clothing section :o

Man Tim a gal that can change oil and likes knives. You hit the jackpot, Congrats to the both of you,:thumbup: Sorry did'nt mean to hijack your thread TNT, just say'in, :D

LOL. That's a great pic.

Some folks find this to be a scary place. Thanks for being game.

It's all good, guys :)

Oh, and Ken- Yes, I am new here, but I know a little bit in the way of how the Busse world works. Your "Monday Ganzaa" sounds awesome, but if I had the cash, I'd stick with the Sunday one ;) Valiant effort on your part to cut down competition, though. I'm not one you need to worry about... this time!

Nice Intro. Great set of infi there.

Trying to get my wife hooked too.

Changing her own oil, that will have to wait!

any friend of tim's is a friend of mine!;)

i think we all lurk at first and then you begin to see how friendly the busse folk will be!

Would you ask Tim to strip a blk and bruiser boss jack for me?? I said to him the other day i was waiting for a satin with bruiser and he MADE ONE :thumbup:

I figure coming from you (a cool chick..and HIS chick at that!) he will say yes lol:p

Are they all the same color and finish? Because that's the only way I can see all Busse knives that a person *cough*Tim*coughcough* might have could look the same :p

Naw, I even learned the names of the knives, finishes, and handle slab color combo options in the G-10 (micarta was much easier). Tim has learned the downside to this, as I now ask things like "Since when did you get a Sandstorm NMFBM??" If he got a new knife a couple months ago- I wouldn't notice right away. Now I definitely do.

I've come to accept the fact that whenever Tim goes over to Dave's house, these 3 things will happen: 1. He will trade/buy new knives. 2. He will be gone no less than 4, but usually more like 6-8 hours. 3. He will have prepared rationalizations for me to explain why numbers 1 and 2 make sense and needed to happen.

Yes, he's very lucky :p Thanks for reiterating for him ;)

And actually, I do have a single sister who likes all shiny, sharp things, AND knows how to use them as per gojuru(sp?) karate. But, if you touch her, I'll have to kill you. So, there's that...:D
