Is there such an animal? I know Swamp Rats are only available from the website, but I also thought Busses were only from the Busse website, too, until I saw knifecenter.com (knifecenter of the internet?) saying they carry 'em, too... only they didn't list any when I looked. I saw another website offering Busses, too, but they also had none to list when I looked...
Is Busse only available from Busse?

Thanks guys...

not that I have all the answers, but I think going direct is the only way to get a NEW Busse, however there are some older and collectible models to be had on www.bladeart.com beyond that just post a 'wanted' listing on the forums.

Oh boy, do I know about Bladeart.com! The source of my first two Busses - both straight handle, green micarta and green nylon sheathes - a BM and a SH II !!! Totally awesome Chef's knives! ;)

What I'm curious about is if NEW Busses are available elsewhere besides the Busse website. I thought all new Busses went through the website only... So I was suprised to see them listed on a few different websites as being a part of their normal stocks... just that none are available now...

Anybody else know?

Thanks

Other than ordering an older Busse through the secondary market (such as fine companies like Bladeart.com) "new" Busses are only available in the United States direct from Busse Combat (both via phone and online).

Tis the season for knife and gun shows:D

You might check some out, I see new and unused Busses now and then (99% of the time they're the current ergos:))

Good luck!

I was just kinda perplexed about whether or not new Busse knives were only available from Busse or others, too. Apparently there are outlets that do carry... Now I only have to make up my mind... And since it's too late for Uncle Mofo (or Mojo?) I guess I'll have to wait for the "new" line of knives to come out... But they'll have to be way better than the old straight handled SH II and BM that I have - I don't think there's much out there that can hold their own against either of those... and my financial base is still recovering from that attack Bladeart.com did on my credit cards!

And I have to feel a little good about this thread... That's my first message from Blade Babe... Now I know why you guys are gaga over the staff at Busse.com... :D

Gotta agree on the SH-SH-II. Love mine forever.

But..but...just wait on the new handles...baby baby....

I wish they sold them at Wal-Mart! Hey wait a minute
then I'd be broke all the time!:grumpy: :D

There's a Walmart about 5 miles from my home that sells Busse knives, *hic* cheaper than the website, too! They've mainly got the E series, but a few variants and zero tolerances as well. *hic* For a price, I can tell you how to get there. *hic*
