I have to take only one fixed blade knife for one month fishing in east florida and Salt water fishing on piers and surf fishing. Which would fit the role of a good fixed knife to take. I have a Busse SAR 3 or the Chris Mountaineer 1. Both are great knife
Thanks for your replies.

Neither are very good knives for salt water or cleaning fish.... how bout a cheap fillet knife and a folder in H1?

Not to sound like a complete doofus because I don't recall the shape or periameters of the knives you mentioned, but as soon as I read what you wanted to do a Mora seemed to fit the bill. I know that many Moras are high carbon steel, but they have thin blades that would be great for gutting fish and they can sharpen up well. Keep some mineral oil on it and it shouldn't rust on you despite the environment. Sounds like a great trip and let us know what you got and how it goes.

I'd try to find a spyderco aqua salt or a cheap blade that I wouldn't worry about ruining if I couldn't find the spidy. That Florida air will eat up a knife real quick.

I'll agree to the above statements for an H1 Spyderco. A Salt 1 or Pacific Salt fit the bill nicely.

Edit: I see you wanted a fixed blade, so I also agree with the above suggestion for a cheap Mora. If it gets ruined you're only out very little.
