This knife is in the UK, with me. I'll ship insured and tracked with Royal Mail Airsure. I've been trying to sell it in the UK but everyone is too cheap to pay a fair price, so I'll put it up for trade here and see if it wants to go home. Or elsewhere...
I have an immaculate condition Busse Active Duty, with an original Satin finish and green G10 scales.
It comes in a well-fitting black leather sheath.
The knife has been used only very little since new; just a couple of times comparing it to other knives for fuzz-stick making. It's never been carried (not out of the garden anyway). It has also been used for nicking out a couple of deep splinters because it's one of the pointiest, sharpest knives I have. Better than a scalpel! The knife was intended as my hillwalking EDC, but it was simply too nice to mess up and has spent its life in my knife store.
The edge has been reprofiled to a more usable, acute angle than the original bevel on an edge pro. It is beautifully level and mirror-polished, hair-popping sharp and very pointy! The edge has never suffered any damage (barely used, as above) and the reprofiling was done to maintain the full blade height of the original, without losing so much as a thou. Really, the edge is superb.
The knife feels light and lively in the hand and would make a great bushcraft knife. The satin blade is a little thinner than the more common coated version which makes it a much better cutter and slicer. The condition is also perfect for a collector. With the polished edge it looks better than when it left the shop!
Steel: Infi, of course
Handle: Green textured G10
Overall Length: 20.1cm
Blade Length: 9.2cm
Thickness: 4.3mm
The first two pictures are older ones that show the colour of the handle better, but they have oily fingerprints on the blade. That's all the marks are; nothing that hasn't wiped off. The rest of the pictures were taken in today's excuse for sunlight.
What I want
Other Busse knives (would love a NHFSH), or possibly a very good bushcraft-type knife, Busse or otherwise. Value adjustment is possible as required.
