Busse SFNO Variant - bowie clip, black G-10 standard scales, Satin finish blade, Busse Custom Shop logo. If you need a clip-point fighter, this is a beauty!

Looks like this:

Actual Knife for Sale pictured below - Specs are lint in the factory protectant - new in cardboard - My photos do this beauty NO Justice. Mint, fresh from Busse, too shiny and nice to abuse. :)

Can't tell from the pics, but is the point only clipped or is there also a false edge/swedge on it as well?

On the off-chance that those specks are anything other than a bit of dust or detritus in oil (Morimotom is doubtless right), please remember that Mr. Busse stands behind all his knives. The specks appear randomly placed -- I do not believe they are scratches, dings, or grinding errors.

Sorry to interrupt this selling Thread; I'm just trying to clear up points that might prevent the sale of an extremely fine knife.

Still hoping for a clear up on the blade shape. The two photos look different (Busses and yours). Any chance you could put up a shot of the knife perfectly square (no angles) and a spine shot. Thanks (I am interested BTW).

XMP, that knife is coming from the Busse Custom Shop and is hand ground. As a result, not every knife will have *exactly* the same lines. Even with production knives, I've gotten versions that have slight bevels where the very next (same model) knife does not. Depends in part on who's grinding what.

I'm not saying that the knives aren't identical, but I am saying I would not be surprised at all if there were slight variations between the two knives that are pictured.

I'm driving and have poor connection - I appreciate everyone's input and interest.

The specs have been wiped off with another oily rag. Just lint.

The swedge is sharpened enough for a back-cut - the top of thre point is quite sharp.

I will try to get better photos late tonight when I return - it's difficult with flash and the satin finish with my camera.

Thanks for looking!

I apologize for the slow reply - I was traveling over the weekend and returned to find the transmission out of service on the wife's car - nice change of plans... :D

Here are photos of the swedge - sharp enough and serviceable for back cuts, IMHO.

I hope these photos help. Sorry for the quality, I really need to build a light box :o

That is still lint on the finish, the satin finish is factory fresh.

Thanks for looking!
