Busse/Swamp Rat at Columbus Ohio PRO Show Nov 25-26

Nah, we have all the fun there too. We don't hafta face neighbors the next week....

Well, Hammy had some Rat traps and one Nuclear Ice Pick. At least he did, until about 9:03am. :D Lotsa Scrapper 6s, a few Skeleton Keys, some War Boars. One nice looking SJTAC variant wif teef, black/tan G10 (#24 from the Liliputianganza. oh, and a

FUSION BATTLE MISTRESS

This one had standard slabs. I have not held a Fusion in magnum, but I think that is what I will order. Now I have to puzzle out my color combo.

I hung out at the table for a little while, and met some other Hogs. J85909266 came by, carrying his Rat Tail with a leather wrap by Wally Hayes. Very Nice. GarySoneji was showing off his broken Skeleton Key. Mike brought his AK-47 for air chops.

I left the show around noon, don't know what he'll have left for tomorrow.

I was suprised by how light the FBM felt in hand. Very swift and easy to control. The corragated beveling is very deep, and it probably lightens the knife significantly. I really want to order a CG to go with my LE, now. I have a feeling they will feel like totally different knives.

Lot's of good conversation with Mike again. It was nice to meet Paradiggum, and say hi to Resinguy again. Got to handle Mike's very cool AK and SFNO, which is such a great blade. I really need to hunt one down.

Gravelface went all out with the HOG tactics, which was hilarious.

Hey, I really regret missing the show but (and I know this might sound like a lame-a-- excuse but it's the God's honest truth) I spent all day Friday and all day Saturday in Cardington. My best bud in the world, since around the Carter administration, his mother-in-law died on Tuesday and I was at the "showing" and then at the service at 1st United Methodist Church and then the funeral. My 3 year-old boy and his 7 year-old sister BOTH had some kind of flu-like crud and--despite my pleading--my wife insisted on taking them to the funeral on Saturday. Well, as I predicted, they were both REAL sick on Sunday and I couldn't get away. All that PLUS the fact that I knew I couldn't really afford any INFI at this point anyhow, pretty much sealed the deal for me. Please give us another "alert" for the New Year's show and I will do my damndest to get there. I MIGHT even have some "funding" for this show too! Anyways, sorry I missed you and all the other hogs. I am looking forward to putting a face with some of these screen-names! Take care--James Falor SEMPER FI
