Gotcha - thanks. I made my first purchase from them in 2012, as well. At that time, they did a very utilitarian finish on the G10...not really any scalloping/sculpting. Maybe they did it on the M2 - I never really paid much attention to that model. I ordered my M4 in black/tan G10, and was somewhat disappointed when it arrived flat, without any sculpting (I was expecting something more along the lines of the way your new one looks). I got over that quickly, though...but I still think about doing something with them, periodically. (Truth be told, I'm afraid I'll mess them up; so I need to grab a couple pieces of G10 to practice with).

I'm a little jealous of the AK - that was the first Busse I ever saw, and I wanted it. The SRKW Waki became my obsession soon after, though; and I finally got a basic black on black and a sage on black/tan. I still don't have a Busse, for some reason. (Maybe I'm just a rat, and will always be a rat?)
 
Dude, I rarely venture out into the general knife discussion world. mainly post in here and once in a while in the Hinderer Forum. I assumed the rest of BF was as positive as the Busse Forums. I was wrong. Very wrong.. I got owned out there.
