Oh my bad J! Not an OG AK...but circa 2006 AK-47; the newer of the duo. She has the brass bolsters, sandpaper finish, and gorgeous handles. I'll try to get a better picture of the handles when I am not flat out on this end. As to the story behind her...let's just say I was truly lucky to get her at cost :foot:

Oh, I know where she lies. But the last time I spoke with the owner he was not interested in selling.

I know where it is too. Now it's just a matter of exercising my buzzard-like patience while waiting for my chance. And I have no illusions that it's inexpensive at all :D
