The story of how the MacBook found its first death shall never be told in detail. But the protagonists were someone who is very, very closely related to me - and an awful amount of fruit juice. It was a slow and painful process. I should have mercifully taken out the Mistress earlier.

Send it in asking if it can be repaired under warranty.

Also, please dispose of computers properly. There's a lot of stuff in these things that would be better recovered than stuck at the dump.
