Busse Warranty Question

We all know that INFI is superior.
Just enjoy your sword... or go nuts with it. :D

I like the idea of "there can only be one" sword challenge  Remember pic's or vid's

it started with the phrase "we fully torture and test our swords to the point of breaking. I have broke several of our blades, and would hope that no customer would EVER do what we do to these things. I would not expect a INFI sword to withstand the same abuse."
I would probably want to test the two out if I were more the tester type and not the collector type either that or I get easily provoked.

***Edit, added some thoughts below:
I'm thinking if the Busse wins and the other breaks, THAT maker should replace the broken knife.
If the Busse breaks, well then Busse shouldn't have to replace it since it seems intentional breakage.

Kdstrick... right above your comment is the actual situation. No intentional destruction, just some SERIOUS abuse...

From this quote it sure sounds like your planning on a destruction test.

I think your sword is cool as heck, and i'd love to have one. When i DON'T think is that it's going to outperform a Busse Gladius in a destruction test.

Hmmm... based on following these forums for a few weeks, and investing in various kin, it seems to me that, as long as the point is to destroy things WITH your Gladius, rather than to destroy THE Gladius, then you are just using your INFI as intended, right?

I'm not planning to destroy my busse, but i'm planning to do things with it that i can't imagine HIS sword will survive

that's IF i decide to actually DO this, which, to be honest, i almost certainly won't

I won't be putting my gladius in a vice and hitting it with a hammer. The abuse will be more like batoning through a whole refrigerator or hammering tip first into an engine block...

Considering a Gladius is not your typical EDC tool, box cutter, or camp knife, what is it good for, if not batoning through a frig or piercing an engine block?

arrgh... "Display INFI?"

;-)

I have to say, i think that if i WERE to manage to hammer it into an engine block, the best picture to come out of the experience would be the "Sword in the Stone" picture that i would HAVE to take...

Gladius Excalibur! We can only hope for that picture :D

Then the big conundrum, how would you get it out?

Arthur?

This reminds me a little bit of an episode of Reno911 (not that I watch it), but that guy who claims "hypothetically" if I were to take a knife and "not that I would do it", pummel it into an engine block "and I'm not saying I'd do it or that I did it" :D
BePrepared, I'm not attacking you I hope you know....I do respect your inquiry.

I completely support a head-to-head challenge. Only with video of course. Bring it!!
