Busse Warranty

Thats cool, I'll take your word for it. I just think LVC was a little confused and thought I expected a BM to replace a basic7 lol.

Replacing broken blades with an equivalent knife would be mighty good of Busse. I don't know what the Basic7 originally retailed for, but I bet it was pretty cheap by todays standards, and I doubt credit would get you very much. I hope it never comes up though, the Basic 7 is #1 in my books.

I have a feeling that Jerry would be pretty reasonable on the replacement, and the "store credit at original sale price of the knife" is for those sphincters that would break a knife on purpose and want something like a MOAB to replace their Basic 9.

From my dealings with the beyond amazing folks at Busse I would think that the written policy of "credit for original purchase price" is just the baseline.

Busse Combat is among the last of an unfortunately dying breed of companies who believe in customer support and service. The ends that Amy went to in order to get a BATAC into my hands for my brother on short notice will never be forgotten!

Funny thing, in this economy, the companies that stand behind their products like Busse and RAT Cutlery are getting a larger share of the market. When you are tight on cash, it makes sense to buy something you're pretty sure you won't have to replace, and will be replaced, no questions, if you do.

I bet your right on the money there. :)
