Busse warranty??

hey sro, jus know that the busse line of knives are extremly tough knives, do not take offense at folks for standing up for them, we are family here and folks take issue with questioning the knife line that we have chosen as the best.
if you buy one of anykind you will not have any further questions, i understand you wanting to see it in writing and as far as will them being able to replace a knife that is out of production. busse knife company is without a doubt, of the highest integrity.

just buy one and you will see, they don't care if you have one of their knives or 200, they treat you the same.

we are probably the closeset knit family in the knife business, come to a blade show and you will see, or just hang around here and it will be evident.

as well mustard man is good people i have seen several of his posts and he believes in what he says

+1 to that... I walked into BLADE show in Atlanta with two Swamp Rats and a Scrap Yard to my name, never having owned a piece of INFI, and Amy-O greeted me like I was a long-lost family member. I had great, long conversations with many who were gathered around that booth, both people who were selling knives, and people who were buying them. All of them acted like we were all old friends.

The people kept me coming back to that booth over and over during the weekend....

The knives kept me pulling out my credit card

Warranty aside. These are GOOD people we are supporting; all around good people.

Folders excluded, I honestly don't even think about any other fixed blades. Busse-kin are the best, and I like to support em'..

but to be honest we are like a family...if you buy fine...if you do not fine...

We are just "Good People" and I say that to each and everyone of you:)

Your my cool family...I remember talking to P-Easy at the induction dinner at Blade and this always sticks in my head..."It was one of the best times we had"

That makes me Happy:):)

Jerry Busse...Thank you for letting me be a part of this:thumbup::thumbup:

Kisses and many Hugs,
Amy-0

unless you plan on clamping the blade down and wacking it as hard as you can on the tang sideways a couple dozen times with a 3lb sledge and 250 lbs of man behind that sledge, that knife wont break.

With a knife this tough, you really dont even need to worry about the warranty, chances are that you'll break before the knife breaks! :D

The FFBM didn't break that way, it took all of the hits. :D

I am really having trouble finding an ash-1 to buy. All of what I have seen on the for sale forum are gone. There's one on ebay I might bid on but I would rather have a few more options. Also my WTB thread hasn't had but one member get back to me and he hasn't responded to me after I said I would like to see what he has.

I see six responses to your "wanted to buy" thread, all offering various versions of the ASH for sale.

They are a pretty common knife and pop up regularly on the for sale forum - it shouldn't be terribly hard to find one.

I am familiar with this forum template, but I have so much trouble with this forum. I can't find replies to my own posts, I can't figure out how to send PM's and search is restricted... 6 already that I havent seen lol. Im looking into them right now

I just noticed that, not only are you not a gold member (that means you can't get Private Messages), but you also don't have the forums configured to allow other members to send you email.

That means, even if someone does want to contact you, it will be difficult.

At the top of any forum page, click on "user cp", and then on the left hand side, scroll down until you see "edit options". After you click that, select the option "receive email from other members" and click "save changes"

That should set things up so people can email you with offers - you'll probably find it easier to communicate.

ALSO, under the same options page, you might want to change your default thread subscription mode. If you set it to "no email notification" instead of "do not subscribe", you will be automatically subscribed to all threads you post in.

Then, you can click "quick links" at the top of the page, and select "subscribed threads" to show all the updates to threads you're subscribed to. You will, of course, have to post in your WTB thread again, or manually subscribe to it, if you want it to show up in your "subscribed threads"

Hope that all makes sense.

Man... I'm going to buy one and just give it to you. :) Seriously, a week ago I had people jumping over one another offering up their Ash. What don't you like about what you've seen, or what is it you've narrowed down to looking for?

Making those changes now Thanks mustard!!

adrock, just looking for a cg with a coated blade and mag handles other than black

There's one at the top of the exchange just as you described, right now.
Here:

www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=666114

Also, even though you can't search within the forum, here's a trick someone gave me as a non-paying member - search google like this (knife you want) followed by "site:bladeforums.com". In your case, Google: ASH1 site:bladeforums.com. It should pull up every for sale post with an ASH in it. Trust me, I've been here for about a month and I've already scored about 4 SR/Busse/Scrap yard knives this way.

Do you thick that using a busse knife as a thrower is abuse?

Cobalt threw his SHBM something like 15,000 times according to his post here...

seems like he had a few other posts along this line, but i don't feel like searching that much right now....
