Today I did a hike into some cool temperate rainforest in south east New South Wales, Australia. Thought I’d take the opportunity to get a few photos of some Bussekin in their natural environment.
On the side of the road on the way in. This landholder doesn’t like people very much.
Driving into the forest.
I left the road here and headed into the forest to the left.
The edge of the rainforest.
I found the creek and walked downstream. The whole walk down was like this, rock hopping over boulders and big logs.
… and the occasional small cliff
This rainforest has some big trees. This is a Brown Barrel (eucalyptus) with Black Olive-berry behind it (cool temperate rainforest trees).
