The knife with the Baer pistols was the Jack Hammer as I recall. I don't know of any hogs who have gotten one of the combos yet, at least none that have admitted it. I would like one, but finances are way to thin these days, maybe when I stop having kids. :D

Skunk, I am literally green with envy! :p

Heres the Auto Ordinance my father left me, those grips have gotta go! Anyone got a spare set of Busse grips????? :D

I've been drooling over the Baer TRS for a LONG time, once I get one of those and a companion series 70 to go with my series 80 XSE I'll be complete :D I already know it's top notch, but what do you think of it? I love hearing about it....can't get enough ;)

Sorry ...You showed a pic with a drawer, that had a bunch of 45's in it,and if i remember right,it had a box that said busse folder:confused:

I've got one of those boxes too, there ain't nuthin' in it though. :grumpy: :p

The TRS is the closest thing I have to a 5" bbl rifle. The accuracy is really amazing. I highly recommend it. It is one sweet shooter, absolutely reliable, fine fit and finish. The only real problem is when I fail to make a small clover or miss the occasional beer can on the ground... I can't blame the gun. ;)

Xaman asked about the Wilson Sentinel. I can't say if it is worth trading up over the Kimber. I love my Classic Custom, it is a great value in a 1911. The Sentinel is also a very accurate pistol with a fantastic trigger. Very concealable also. It shoots as well as I can shoot. The slide on it is as smooth as any I have ever felt... almost as if it is on ball-bearings... very slick. I highly recommend it.

I have to chime in on the TRS as well. I love mine, best 1911 I have ever owned, except for the other Baer I have. Mine is out getting a new coat, getting a bigger mouth on it and a few other tricked out things. It was either that our buy a new pistol. This was cheaper and I love the gun already. If you are considering a TRS, go for it.

I'm definitely making the plunge....just a matter of time....in fact, I'm treating myself to one for my birthday this year albeit belated :p probably about three months or so when I can afford it ;).
