I put this together this afternoon:

It's a .300 AAC Blackout pistol kit from Palmetto State Armory, built on a $30 Anderson lower (on sale from a place in Houston). It's not a chrome lined barrel, but it is nitrided, and comes with a NiB BCG with a shot peened and MPI bolt, and Palmetto State Armory's enhanced polished trigger group. I can't believe you can build one of these for under $450, tax (on the lower) and shipping (on the kit) included. With a Magpul .300 Blackout mag for good measure! I used to pay more than that just for an upper.

The red dot is a Trijicon something-or-other that I found in the bottom of a box while looking for a set of Magpul MBUS sights I bought a year or so ago and lost track of.

I really like the ATF-approved SBA3 Adjustable Pistol Brace. I'm looking forward to using it as the manufacturer intended and in accordance with ATF guidance. I just hope no one uses one in a crime, prompting Donald Trump to tell the ATF to reverse itself and make them illegal, as he did with bump stocks. Boy, for a guy who complained about Obama's use of executive orders....

I would have liked a bottom rail on the handguard to mount a light, but I suppose they're worried about people attaching a vertical foregrip and inadvertently making it an unregistered "AOW."

I hope to get a suppressor one of these days and try it out on feral hogs. Because that's what .300 Blackout is for.

The knife is pretty nice too.
