I'm fine-tuning my collection; and I've got a number of Busses and a couple other knives to trade. These knives are all unused and unsharpened (some purchased from other forumites), except where noted. Some come with sheaths; I'm sorry, but I cannot trade the knife away from the sheath - I have no use for the sheath if the knife is gone. However, I'm happy to trade the sheath separately if you'd like it. Also, I'm happy to do +/- cash where applicable.
1. TRADED Busse Leprechan Warden - This is a nice ~.19" thick Game Warden with 3" green blade and green linen micarta scales. A good little basic EDC blade.
2. TRADED Busse Fat Fusion Battle Mistress - This is one of Jerry's big choppers, ~.31" thick with a 10" saber grind, grey blade with blue and red mag G10 scales and penetrator tip...it's the same model as the nearly indestructible knife that Noss tested on his website (except a different color scheme). The edge on this one is pretty nice...sharper than my other FFBM; sort of looks like a slightly higher grind. This one has an interesting mark on the tip...very barely noticeable - it's not a chip in the coating, more like the coating was pushed back while still wet..a couple of millimeters. With the grey blade, I did not notice it until close examination in preparation for trade; and it was not reported to me by the
person from whom I got it. Definitely not an issue; but I wanted to give full disclosure.
3. Busse Fusion Battle Mistress LE, #973 with the kydex sheath from the Company Store (no tek-lok) - this is the Limited Edition model of the FBM; with a very nice Satin finished 10" Full Flat Grind, .32" thick blade and Tiger Hide handle scales.
4. TRADED Busse Combat Grade ASH-1 - with a 6.5" black blade, black mag micarta handle scales, and a coyote brown Buy Brown sheath (no tek-lok)
5. Busse Badger Attack TAC Limited Edition, #314 - Nice, Satin Finished 5" blade with Tiger Hide Micarta handle scales. ~ .25" thick.
6. Busse Heavy Duty - this is the fatter version of the Active Duty, and slightly fatter than the Miliganza Thickness Active Duties. It has a 3.5", .2" thick green blade with black micarta handle scales and a black kydex sheath, no tek-lok (unknown maker)
7. WITHDRAWN Busse Muddy Mili-Active Duty - one of the Miliganza thickness Active Duties, at ~.19" thick with a 3.5" muddy brown blade and brown micarta handle scales. This one comes with a coyote brown Buy Brown Kydex Sheath (no tek-lok). The blade is sterile.
8. Busse Shiva Rex - A very interesting little Ganza knife...3", .125" thick (I think) satin blade with black micarta handles. Blade has some fierce serrations and a nice sharp tanto point that is chisel ground (I think). It would make a nice defensive EDC blade that still had reasonable utility.
9. I also have a SFNO LE that I could let go; but there's a caveat: my knife "color scheme" is black blade/black micarta; and my LE is the only SFNO that I have; so I'd only trade it for a sabre SFNO w/black crinkle and black mag micarta scales.
10. I also have a Black G10 Tuxedo Warden, one of the fatties, at .27" thick, with a penetrator tip. It's unused, and came to me straight from the Company Store; however, it comes with the Company Store sheath (no tek lok), which left a couple of minor sheath scuffs on the blade. This is only for trade for a Black Tie Warden (the .14" thick G10 scale one), also with a sheath.
In addition to my Busse blades, I've got the following:
11. Chris Reeve Green Beret - this is the "civilian" version of the Yarborough, ~ 6" blade, S30V steel (if I remember my specs correctly). It's unused and unsharpened and still in the box with all the papers. Your choice of green or black Blackhawk sheath.
12. Bark River Knife and Tool Little Creek - this is a cute little "pocket" sheath knife, small ~2" blade and black and red linen micarta handles. I love the model; but my Black Micarta is my primary, so I'm passing this one on to another loving home. This knife is unused and unsharpened and still has its box.
Here are the knives that I'm looking for. I'd like unused/unsharpened knives only, please:
Swamp Rat Camp Tramp, differentially tempered Black blade with Black Res C handle
Busse Original Hell Razor, black crinkle with black magnum micarta scales
