After other posts/threads by other sellers, I feel compelled to help those brethren outside the US. I will state that I’m totally green in international shipping and will NOT attempt to skirt any laws or do anything wacky. I’m trying to get blades to folks that normally wouldn’t get them. Whether they are not on BCS-Standard time and get skunked by Skunk or didn’t have funds at the time or perhaps haven’t had a chance at some other blades b/c people put CONUS-only in their threads. (Which, admittedly, I have done up until this point.)

That said, I’ve got some blades that I need to let go. Stuff I don’t/won’t/can’t use that is cluttering up my INFI drawer. I’m not looking to rake anyone over the coals. In fact, I’d probably hold out for more in the US. But I know with VAT’s and shipping costs, yer gonna get hosed. So I’m trying to keep that to a minimum. All are mint unless otherwise specified. In no particular order, we have:

Scrapyard SS4 with factory sheath - $220 + shipping Sold to Waterbuck
Swamp Rat Mini Mojo - $220 + shipping
Black Skeleton Warden - $190 + shipping
Satin Tiger Warden - $240 + shipping Sold to Waterbuck
Snakeskin/Tan Badger TAC - $290 + shipping Sold to Sandgrouper
Badger E with polished spine and Okuden sheath - $475 + shipping
Black’n’Tan Game Warden - $220 + shipping
Black’n’Green Game Warden - $220 + shipping
Combat Grade Argonne Assault - $1300 + shipping. (Some kydex wear and marks on knuckles. I’m pricing it a bit high only b/c I don’t wanna let it go. I may pull this one.)

Shipping Info:

First, NO US CUSTOMERS! Sorry. I’m trying to help some folk out. I may put the remnants up for sale later.

Second, you should be a fairly-well known person on Bladeforums. I’m not getting some guy that paypal’s me some $, claims he never got the shipment and busts me on PP and I’m out my money AND my knife.

Third, you are responsible for the knife after it leaves my hands. I have no control you’re your Customs agents taking your knife. I can and will insure it on my end. I don’t think my insurance applies once it reaches your destination-country.

Fourth, I’m gonna fill out the customs form as it should be. I’ll list it as camping tools, but it’s getting insured for what the purchase price is. And labeled accordingly on customs forms as to value. No hanky. No panky. Sorry.

Lastly, sure I’m open for (non-US) trades as well. Always very interested in custom-handled Busse’s if you have one. Or ABA-LE’s.

I’ve looked it over and it appears that Express International is a reasonable shipping method. It can be insured and will get to you in a week or less. The less time in the mail, the safer it should be. A 2lb box seems to cost between $30-40US depending on where you are. (Strangely, Australia is cheaper than the EU. Must be us colonies sticking together.)

Payment will be in US funds. Paypal is OK with +3.5%. Otherwise, I have no idea how to get $ from you to me. I’m assuming you know how to do this. ;)

“I’ll take it” here wins all ties. PM is fine too for notifying me. Also email to djokeefeatcomcastdotnet (you know how to parse that, right?) is AOK. But “I’ll take it” here is the deciding factor. PLEASE do that first. And be patient with me getting shipping materials and such. This is VERY new to me.

Thanks for looking. Will get pix up soon. Standard disclaimer, yada yada, reserve the right, yada yada. :)

ive shipped internationally many times, a few tips:

1. ive had the best results with usps international shipping. i think you're right, insurance is no longer applicable once it reaches the destination country and is passed to the local postal office.

2. like you said, fill out the customs forms properly with correct value.

3. use a large box, even for smaller items. there are at least three labels the po will affix.

4. have an address label filled out before you get to the po, it will save loads of time.

5. shipping will likely run between $20-40 per package.

very nice thing you are doing here dennis. ive made some nice overseas friends with my willingness to send to other countries.

Hi Dennis, first off, thank you for doing this!!!!

Its heart wrenching to see so many CONUS only sale.

There are 2 flat rate ways to ship internationally that I know off.

1. Flat rate box at $37
2. Flat rate envelope at $11

There is no insurance for both. If buyers are willing to take the risk, the small blades like the GW can be shipped in the flat rate envelope.

I have had numerous items come to me this way and NONE has ever been lost.

Good luck on your sale and thanks once again!!

This is great Dennis.
I have bought three knives from Messer454 lately, and there was no problems at all shipping them to Norway.
I take the Scrapyard SS4 and pay by Pay Pal.

Mail me at ariive@online.no

I have made more than two dozen purchases in the last 6 months and never had a single problem,no problems with me shipping international either.I could easily have made twice that many(money permitting)except for the fact some people will only ship conus.I have missed many a good deal and many a good blade, but the upside is i haven't had to take a second mortgage or third job to support this non stop Infi ride....yet.
Thankyou Dennis and all those who in recent weeks have decided to give us non-conus forumites a shake at the stick.

The USPS website, and particularly the shipping calculator, is a great resource.
A very nice gesture by the way. Appreciate it.

Hi Dennis, very nice of you to help us out. I'll take the BATAC tan/snakeskin if you are happy to deal with me. I have hung around the forums for a while but posted rarely. I have bought from Busse direct, the Company Store, Scrapyard and Swamprat all in the last six months and have been going quietly nuts trying to catch a Ratmandu in their store for the last few weeks. If I blow my budget on this, I guess I can stop getting up early to log on to the Swamprat site every day and checking it each hour.

It's yours. Just got your paypal. Heading to update the list. Thanks WB and SG!

EDIT - got the change to the Satin/Tiger. Sorry for all that confusion WB! Current list is correct, folks.

Folks,

I just wanna give the international folks another week at exclusive offers on these. Then I'll close this thread and reopen another for domestic and international.

I just don't get it, tho. When I ship domestic, everyone PM's me if I'll ship int'l. Now that I wanna do int'l, everyone domestically wants what I have. LOL I'm just always backwards.

i`d love the green handled game warden , but it`d be two weeks before i could pay for it.

There's a lot of "chit-chat" going on in this thread. Please keep your comments related to questions about knives for sale. If you are not an interested buyer or you are not answering a question you should not be posting in this thread.

I am not handing out warnings for any of the chit-chat at this point but if it continues beyond this post I will.

PM me if you have questions

Eric

Nearing the end of the Int'l Only phase of this selloff. I'll put them all up for everyone this weekend.
