Its quite an interesting dish, eh? Of course, the lure of the Potjie is that you get to build a fire (I cheated and used charcoal) and then stand around and drink beer while you watch the "pot" cook

Pot cooking is great! We decided to cook indoors though, the clouds started turning black a while ago.. But the whole family helped out, and I still squeezed in a couple of beers.. The family says thank you! Great recipe, it has a very German theme, doesn't it. We'll be making that one again.
