Egads! I went on vacation on 6/20/06 and came back on 7/10/06 only to see that the moderators had banned some 30 people.* You guys must have been working overtime for the past three weeks.

* Some the same person several times, admittedly.
 
Hey -- where was Hugh when we were afflicted with those 30 trolls? Has anyone ever seen Hugh and a troll at the same time? Watch the phone booths.... :eek:
 
Cougar, this was not criticism of you all but genuine surprise at the number of spammers and trolls that seemed to have come out of the woodwork in the past two or three weeks. It was really quite remarkable and made me wonder if there had been some strange planetary alinement or some such thing.:D

BTW, if you hadn't noticed, I was in Europe for two weeks and, thus, offline.
 
The warm weather brings out the pests. Like those endless biting insects, ants trying to nest in the house walls, lots of mice getting into my traps too. So its no surprise that bladeforums.com has its share of pests right now. Eradication is the only way to eliminate pests once they get in. Effective pest control comes in many forms, and they are quite satisfying to use, especially the ones that ride along on my belt.:D
 
LOL! It does seem like a bit of a coincidence that all this happened while you were "on a trip to Europe," you must admit! Now I suppose you'll post a lot of pictures of yourself standing in front of the Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, St. Peter's Cathedral, etc., to try to convince us your story is true -- the kind of pix people fake up the first week after they get Photoshop!
 
How about pics of me in front of the Temples of Apollo and of Vespasian in Pompeii? Nothing so common as the Eiffel Tower, please!

Well, have fun. If you remove the limit on the total amount of bandwidth that I can take with pics, I'll be glad to post lots and lots for your "forensic experts" to study. Why don't you have Ziva and Abby from the NCIS show to do your forensics for you? They'd be even nicer to look at IMNSHO. :D Damn, I need a dirty old man icon!
 
Yeah, they may have banned thirty or fourty user names, but they only banned two or three people.
