I've been away from work the whole month because of a back injury and I can tell you beyond any doubt, back injuries suck! There are a couple of good things about it, though. I get to catch up on watching Nick Shabazz on You Tube and I finally have some time for going through my knife collection.
Deciding what knives to keep and part with is not always easy and can bring up lots of memories and emotions. Remembering how you carried your first Buck knife on that deer hunting trip, for example. Or, how that same knife was stolen out of your car and the replacement just isn't the same. Hey, here's that shiny, new drop point fixed blade for that big camping trip that never came to pass.
Looking at knives you'll never use again is bound to come up. Maybe they don't fit your lifestyle any more. Maybe the knife is just unsafe. You know the ones, that SAK clone your neighbor gave you when you were the new family on the block. You'll never ever use it because the quality is lacking but, you keep it anyway because you're now great friends.
Oh, don't forget the gift knife that you received from your ex! You don't really care for the knife but, for some strange reason, you still have it.
These are the knives I want to look at and read about. We all have them. The good, the bad, and the questionable knives that you love, and the stories that go with them. Knives you know you'll never use for whatever reason but, you love them just the same.
