Butch Hanby Clip-Point Hunter - White Tail Antler Handle - 9oz Buffalo Hide Sheath - $140
The Scout is a small light hunting knife.
The clip point blade is made of high carbon stainless cutlery steel. The handle is the antler tine from a whitetail deer from the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. The quillon is made of solid brass.
The sheath is 9 ounce buffalo hide leather fastened with brass rivets. Butch Hanby, a Cherokee Indian, uses Native American techniques to form and harden the heavy leather. The result is a sheath of such toughness that you just might be able to pound nails with it, though it is not recommended.
