Drop-Point Hunter with Snow White Corian Handle and Buffalo Hide Sheath by Butch Hanby - $225
Osage Ranch, Butch's Buffalo Ranch, is the source of the buffalo hide and buffalo horn he uses in his sheaths and handles.
Butch Hanbys Serengeti is a drop point hunting knife. The drop point blade is 4″ x 1″ and made from high carbon stainless cutlery steel. The handle is polished snow white corian. The fittings are solid brass.
Butch Hanby is a White River Cherokee Indian. He makes his Buffalo Hide Sheaths from the hides he gets on his own Buffalo Ranch in Arkansas. Using an ancient method passed down by the Native American old ones, the nine-ounce bull hide sheath is form fitted, hardened, and secured with double cap solid brass harness rivets. It is the toughest leather you can imagine.
