Butch Harner Necker....

I was looking for a small wharncliff fixed blade for pocket carry. I handled the neckers Butch makes at a show in Maryland. This is essentially a normal necker with a few changes made at my request. There is no thumb ramp, thinner stock and thin handle scales. I wanted it as thin as possible while still having handle scales. Butch nailed it and delivered exactly what I wanted.

So here it is......S3V with black canvas micarta.

Here it is next to a Victorinox Special Mechanic for size comparison.

You are correct. This is one of those small knives that doesn't feel small in hand. The tail-hook at the end of the handle fits nicely between my ring finger and pinky.

Excellent finish. I snagged the 1/8" maple burl on the for sale forum and I'm very impressed with it. Butch really did a great job these. I like the thinner stock and the micarta. Good revisions all around!:thumbup:

I think this was the thinnest stock Butch had.....3/8th inch S3V. It looks thicker in the pictures. The micarta is real thin but no so much that it doesn't serve any purpose....there is enough there to hold on to. Butch offered 10V but I don't think he had stock thin enough for what I wanted.
