I saw this on another post , and have one of these that works on 12 & 24 volt DC .
Can you give some more details about how you do this with the etcher ? I have Googled till my eyes are cross and the thing that I am trying to figure out is how do you control the voltage with a voltmeter or a Potentiometer ? Thanks for any information in advance . I welcome ALL information from anyone but I see were
Butcherblock uses this method so maybe he will see this post .

What Butch is using is his Personalizer Plus power supply. Connect the negative ( i think) lead to an electrode in the TSP bath and the positive to the part to be anodized. Set the marking unit to "Mark" (DC), and play with different voltages until you get the color you want. It's somewhat inexact, but you get the hang of it after a bit I'd imagine.

deker what I have is the TUS Mark M . You can set it on 12 or 24 volts AC or DC then you hold the pad for as many seconds as needed. I have no control over the voltage other then 12 or 24 volts no variable pot so I am guessing I need to get some sort of in line pot or meter or both. Please excuse my ignorance on this . Thanks for the reply.

well with 12 volt or 24 im not sure what 2 colors you will end up with my etcher is variable so i can sweep from straw to purple and then blue one day i ll get a real set up but till then this is good enough

Thanks for the reply Butch I am thinking that I can just put a in line variable pot on the positive side and a volt meter to check it .
